Art is beauty and taste. In an age of AI and abundance, don’t lose your taste.
Every page doloop ships carries an image, and each is a deliberate one: a Hokusai wave, a Magritte, a Warli spiral, a single-line bull. Not a generated gradient to fill the slot. It is the same discernment DOMAINS measures in writing, turned on our own work: A Crisis of Beauty.
A Magritte figure studying a page he cannot quite trust. The whole of doloop in one image: look again at what the machine handed you.
A creature drawn entirely out of loops, in mid-century poster colour. Every kind of AI output gets its own closed loop; the menagerie is the point.
A Lichtenstein panel: one asks who wrote the code, the other approved it all without reading. That is the gap doloop closes for code changes.
Hokusai's wave breaking over a lone figure: the codebase you inherited and never wrote. The CLI reads it before you go under.
Magritte turned on software, this is not the original. A diff that compiles and passes every test and still is not what the codebase means.
An Asterix panel, one small gaul holding the gate against the horde. The reproducible check that stands between AI output and your main branch.
A dense old etching of a records hall. Extraction with every figure traced to its place on the page, audit-grade, never generated.
A treasury of books, scrolls and celadon behind glass. The M&A data room where every figure is traced to its page and nothing leaves the room.
An illuminated manuscript, every margin worked by a patient hand. doloop paints the where-to-look straight into your editor.
A figure reading the face of a vast clock. Convention rates across millions of public files, measured live, not guessed at.
An Escher staircase that never resolves. A generated number with no source loops forever as a liability; a located one sits outside the model-risk regime.
Workers easing open a sealed vault. Hand the AI the safe parts of a legacy system and keep your architects on the locks.
A boy and his tiger presenting a chart with total conviction. Ours arrives with the studies, the honest nulls, and the evidence behind every claim.
A cubist face, every plane a different angle on one person. DOMAINS scores the shape of your writing across seven dimensions.
A Warli spiral of identical dancers with one figure in terracotta breaking the row. AI converges to a single shape; a voice refuses it.
A bull in one unbroken Picasso line. Texture is the variation, the valleys that make the peaks, and the research behind the measure sits here.
A wall of interchangeable buzzword tiles, bright and dead. The slop the writing surface exists to catch before you ship it.
Taste is the scarce thing.
Abundance came free. Anyone can generate any image now, and generated images drift to the same place: competent, glossy, forgotten by the time you scroll past. What lasts is the choice behind the image, the refusal to ship the obvious one.
That refusal is taste. It is the one part of the work a machine cannot hand you, and the part a reader feels first. Do not lose it.
